I almost forgot how wonderful the afternoons in UP are. It has been months since I last took a walk and looked around or just had a snack in UP before sunset. I usually walked around the oval to look out for pretty joggers. If I got tired, I sat somewhere cool and shaded to continue watching cute sweaty ladies. Sometimes I just went to different snack bars or carts and tried whatever they had. And so yesterday I wanted to do all of those things again. Although it was a lot different from a regular UP weekday, it made me remember the fun afternoons that I used to be so excited of everyday.
Ok, so maybe I’m getting a little sentimental here. The internet was down for two days so I was kinda forced to reminisce and entertain my thoughts to get away from boredom. And I only have one semester left in UP (hopefully) so it can’t be helped if I choose to look at typical UP afternoons as special moments in my college life.
